2. What's your favorite way to relax/unwind during the busy holiday season?
Looking at the lights on the Christmas tree when the house is dark.
3. How do you feel about gingerbread? Love it or no thanks? Are gingerbread houses a part of your holiday tradition? If you said yes, how does that look? Do you like ginger flavor in other kinds of dishes?
I might eat one cookie if someone makes it but it's definitely not a favorite!
We do have a tradition to decorate a gingerbread house. We don't eat those, just do it for fun. So to save a little money I buy them at the after christmas sale and we save them in the Christmas tub to do the next year.
Fun memory...the library in the town where we used to live would have a special Saturday morning that families could sign up and come decorate a gingerbread house. Each family signed up to bring a different topping. It was so fun.
4. December 5th is National Blue Jeans Day...will you be celebrating? Do you have a favorite brand? A favorite pair? Do you have a hard time parting with a favorite pair of jeans? Blue jeans-joggers-leggings-yoga pants...which one do you wear most often?
I probably won't be wearing jeans tomorrow. It's my quilting day so usually wear my comfy pants!
I have some I bought at Kohls that I like. One pair has a hole in the knee and I continue to wear them. I like yoga pants and leggings but wear jeans often when I'm going to do errands.
5. As we head into this holiday season what's your biggest priority or goal for the end of the year?
To enjoy the time with family and making new memories/traditions now that our son is married. Also not be stressed about a to do list

Yes, that's a great $5 gift. Looking at the tree is always relaxing. We don't eat the gingerbread house either. That sounds like it was a fun time at the library. I like Jockey leggings and wear them often. In the winter I tend to wear my pull on denim stretch jeans. Stressed, that is where I am. Hope you get everything done. I did hear that Thanksgiving and Christmas are closer this year than before.
Very smart and economical to buy those ginger bread kits at after Christmas sales. That library event sounds so nice, too. Hope you have a lovely end of the week!
I agree with your number 5! Buying gingerbread kits after Christmas for the following year is a great idea! I do that with gift wrap and tags- I should do it for gingerbread houses as well.
Starbucks or other coffee gift cards seem to be a very popular response for Question #1. I agree with you that the time between Thanksgiving and December just seems so short! I seldom feel ready for the holiday season. Hope you're having a great week!
I'm trying not to stress about the to-do list either. I had some really good momentum in general there until the Thanksgiving break and now I am struggling to get back to it!
