Thankful Thursday

It's hard to believe that we are one week away from Thanksgiving.

This week I am thankful for.

~ my husband being able to get into the dermatologist quickly to have a mole on his back looked at and removed.

~ my big boy being able to go see his friend who is fighting cancer. Pray for his friend Wes please.

~ my little guy feeling better after rest this weekend.  Not sure what was wrong but glad he's back to normal.

~ that I had my MRI last Thursday and the follow up this week and nothing is torn in my knee.  It has been hurting me and getting worse.  He called it IT Band Syndrome. He ordered PT for me.

~ a fun evening at my boy's school walking at the track, supper provided by a local bank, and then visiting his class for a "book tasting."  They'd all made placemat book reports about a book they'd read, told us about the book, then explored other books to find new series/authors that interest them.

~ starting a new Bible study.  A little story for me to remember this....at the library book sale I have picked up Bible study books.  I keep them together on my shelf and this year I've been going through those on my own.  I'd just finished Daniel by Beth Moore. I was looking through my other ones to decide which to pick to do next and separated into 2 piles to narrow it down.  (I have several of these!)  I was settled on one by Women of Faith but there's another called 20/20 by Christine Caine I was considering.  Later I read an email from Sharon Jaynes (I'm listening to one of her audio books now), and it mentioned going to the eye dr and the phoropter....I have never in my life heard/read this word before.  It was in the book study I was considering and a random email I read within a day of each other.  I thought that was a clear sign to do the 20/20 study.  I have started it now and it's going to be very good!

Have a day of blessings!
 Bethany
