KJV Know the Word Study Bible

About the book:
The KJV Know the Word Study Bible offers three easy ways to begin studying Scripture and helps individuals transition from being a casual reader of the Bible to becoming a regular student of the Bible. You can choose to study the Bible book-by-book, verse-by-verse, or topic-by-topic; each path offers powerful insights that will help you develop a daily routine of Bible study. The book-by-book series of notes leads you through the main points of each book of the Bible. The verse-by-verse notes help you to dig deeper into God’s Word. The topic-by-topic articles, which cover 21 theological topics, guide you through a series of insightful notes and give you a thorough biblical understanding of each topic. With the beautiful and timeless text of the KJV translation, the KJV Know the Word Study Bible offers you choices of how to study Scripture and grow in your relationship with Christ.

My thoughts:
I am always interested in what various Bibles have to offer since there are so many different choices available.

I felt "verse by verse" was a little bit misleading because every single verse is not covered which I had somewhat expected based on that description. There are 21 different topics, each having 5 or more notes throughout the Bible related to that topic. Some of these include Love, Covenant, Obedience, and Purpose. Each note is numbered and has where to turn for the next note on that topic to keep reading. I liked the "Study the Book" notes and the way it connects to other Bible passages.

I was able to use the KJV Know the Word Study Bible over the past few weeks.  There were several things about it that I liked but it was not the best study Bible I have ever seen.  Part of the reason for that is because I am not a huge fan of KJV and it has been a very long time since I have read from that version.

Have a day of blessings!
