Thankful Thursday (on Friday!)

I ran out of time yesterday to post my Thankful Thursday so here it is a day late.  :)

This week I am thankful for....
~ my amazing husband who is a wonderful Daddy to our boys.  I love and appreciate him so much.

~ my son enjoying a football camp this week. He is so excited to play football again this year and was excited about the 3 day camp.  He had some knee pain as well and I went with him at camp drop off one morning to ask the coach about it.  I am thankful for the coach's helpfulness and concern about it. We tried ibuprophen and ice which seemed to help and will ask his doctor about it later this month at his check up. It was just a good feeling as a Mom to know he has a head coach like that.

~ my growing independent little guy.  He is so funny with the things he says.  He's started saying "why not?" when we tell him no about something.  He said this several months ago, and he recently started saying it again.  It's hard not to laugh when he says it.

~ cooler temperatures and rain this week!  It was in the high 70s for a couple days this week which was amazing!  We are not used to those temperatures here at the beginning of August.  The rain was a blessing too.

~ watermelon, cantaloupe,and fresh tomatoes.

~ just being able to enjoy the days of summer and having my boys at home and that I'm able to be a stay at home wife and Mom with them.
