Thankful Thursday

January has gone by so quickly. I always look forward to February. I've been getting things ready to start our "Valentine's Day Countdown."  We will put up our decorations on Saturday I believe.

Today I am thankful for...
~ my husband always taking care of us.  I was reminded of this when he told me he felt like we should get the tires checked because it had been on his mind.  It was about time for new ones.  We've been traveling a lot lately, and he wanted the tires to be good to go.  He took care of this today, and I'm thankful he thought of it.

~ going to the library and snack day with my boy.  I told him today I was thinking how many more Thursday snack days we have until the baby is here.  I treasure our times together.

~ fun time with my boys registering for baby!  I cannot believe some of the stuff they have nowadays for babies!  Some seems rather excessive in my opinion.

~ taking a nap.  Before I was pregnant I just did not take naps.  I'm glad I can if I feel I need to and it does help me feel better for the rest of the week.

~ watching the boys play in the annual church flag football game last Sunday afternoon. They've done this for the past few years. It was a pretty day, and no one got hurt!

~ reminders of God's grace. This has come up several times lately.  I love the reminder.

Let me leave you with this verse today:
"But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."  Ephesians 2:4-10

Have a day of blessings!

I truly adore your Thankful Thursday! I used to do these all time and fell out of the habit. You've inspired me to start again. Hope you have a beautiful weekend.
