Here are this week's
questions-
1. How will you spend 'the night before Christmas'?
We have a tradition for our family on Christmas Eve that we started a few years back. We find a restaurant that is open and go share dessert. Then we go drive around to look at Christmas lights.
2. What is one thing you are not?Several things came to mind. One I have told myself in recent years is "You are not a failure." It has been helpful to remember that even when I mess up and do things wrong that doesn't mean I'm a failure...as a wife, Mom, whatever the situation may be.
3. Fudge-are you a fan? Your favorite flavor?
Yes! I even made some fudge this week! I don't know what flavor I've had besides plain ol' chocolate fudge. When Caleb was little and my Mom made fudge he called it pie. He could just reach the shelf where she put it, and he'd pull back the cover and poke his finger in it to get a bite.

4. Did you attend any craft/vendor fairs in the month of December? Do you prefer homemade goodies or the more professional stalls? Are you giving any homemade gifts this year?
Yes, we attended one craft fair. I enjoy the homemade goodies. There seemed to be so many booths with jewelry, and they all look the same to me. I am giving a patriotic wreath I made to my Dad (I entered it in our fair and it won first place). Also for my husband's office people we made cookies in a jar this year for their gift.
5. What's your favorite type of holiday gathering?
Just being with family, nothing fancy or anything that requires dressing up!
6. We're approaching a new year...what's going to be different in 2013?It is time to declutter again. When we moved we got rid of so much stuff and it is time to do that again.
7. Share a favorite scripture, quote, saying, or song lyric relating to peace."Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Have a day of blessings!

I like your tradition of going out for dessert and looking at Christmas lights.
The dessert tradition is fun. We drive around and look at lights too, but come home for cookies. We have made a lot of cookies : )
