Thankful Thursday

The weeks of our summer just keep going by for us.  As I posted earlier this week, we had a nice trip to Lubbock to see my Dad for the weekend.  This week has been pretty normal for us in that we have stayed home and done normal things...no camps or anything for Caleb this week!  I love our days together with my boy home!
This week I am thankful for...

~ my husband hoeing stickers for me.  I know this is an odd thing to put on my thankful list!  I had mentioned one day that there were stickers growing near my rose bush.  One day I went to the mail box and saw that the stickers were cleared out.  It made me smile he had done this and it was a surprise to me.  He had come in with a sticker stuck in his finger, but it wasn't until after I saw the rose bush that I realized why he'd had that thorn.

~ my boy being his confident, creative self.  I appreciate his ideas and the way he thinks.

~ all the ways God has been with us over the past 2 years.  Today is the date we signed the papers to sell our first home two years ago.  We are thankful for God being with us through this process and all the changes.

~ our watermelons and tomatoes from our garden.

~ electricity and fresh water.  When we were at my Dad's there was a power outage in the night.  Then on Saturday there was a boil order for all the water.  It made me thankful for electricity and water to drink.

Have a day of blessings!
