Marriage Monday
Today for Marriage Monday our prompt from e-Mom is as follows: On Monday (Jan. 16, 2012), I thought it would be fun to get re-acquainted as women—without spilling any ink about our marriages. This time, boys are not allowed. The following prompts are designed to help us to get to know you as a unique daughter of God. Please complete the sentences, post your piece to your blog, and then click over here to Chrysalis to link up. Think of your post as a quick pencil sketch. The faster you write it the better!
Here are my answers:
I am a loved woman.
I want others around me to feel loved and accepted.
I have a wonderful loving husband.
I wish I knew what answers to fill in the blanks I left empty here!
I hate..well that one the first thing I thought of is I don't ever use the word hate. It's just not a word I use. So I'll leave it blank.
I miss my Peepaw.
I fear pain for my loved ones.
I feel safe and secure.
I hear the blowing wind and tinkling of my wind chimes.
I smell my sweaty little boy.
I crave Mexican food.
I search with google usually.
I wonder what 3rd grade will be like for my boy.
I regret not recording Peepaw telling stories of his past and childhood.
I love days with both my boys at home.
I ache when I hear of another woman having a miscarriage.
I care about those who are lonely.
I always buy chocolate chips when I go to Walmart.
I am not very crafty or creative.
I believe Jesus is my Savior and Friend.
I dance in the kitchen with my husband.
I sing in the car.
I cry when I hurt and share my tears with my husband or just alone.
I don’t always know the right answers as a Mom.
I fight for what I believe in.
I write letters (real ones that you put in the mail with a stamp!) often.
I never ran a marathon.
I listen to my boy's creative ideas.
I need to go to the store.
I am happy in my life.
Have a day of blessings!

I always enjoy getting to know people more :)
You are right; 'hate' is a harsh word - I try not to use it.
I have never run a marathon either; and now am I too old to even try.
Thank you for sharing more about you, Bethany.
Love & peace,
<>< Iris
Hi Bethany: It's nice to meet you. You have a lovely blog. I too hurt for those who miscarry. And I think it's awesome that you still send real letters.
Really...you always buy chocolate chips? What do you make with them all? Or do you eat them straight up like me!?
Fabulous list.
I love the sound of windchimes! I crave Mexican as well, but no one in the family will eat it. I enjoyed reading this!
Awewome! Enjoyed your responses. You sound like a loved, happy and contented woman.
This is the first time I've read about chocolate chips... lots of chocolate today, but so far no chips. Delicious!
LOL, so you're a real letter writer? Good for you. I started out writing lots and lots of letters, but since becoming a blogger, not so much any more. Do you send real Christmas cards too?
Thanks for joining us for Marriage Monday today, Bethany.
Hugs, e-Mom ღ
Love your list Bethany! Living in Europe but being from Texas I constantly crave Mexican food. I, too, don't have all (many) of the answers as a Mom. Keeps me in prayer!
Thanks for sharing today.
Hello Bethany..visiting from MM. I really liked your list. I think letter-writing is a lost art. How I used to love getting mail that was something besides bills! I'm sure whoever you write to loves receiving your letters. I can related to a lot of what you've shared here...thank you for sharing it.
God bless!
I'm so impressed that you write letters! And you say you are not creative...letter writing is definitely an art. Sounds like you miss your Peepaw like I miss my Grandpa. Life passes too quickly!
Blessings to you my friend!
I enjoyed reading your list. Love that you still write real letters! I want to do that more (again). Thank you for sharing!
