Today I am thankful for...
~ my husband's help in doing some things at the house last weekend to get ready for the birthday party. It really helped me not to have those things to do this week for him to have already done them.
~ my sweet boy and getting to spend his last day as a 6 year old with him today! Tomorrow I'll have a 7 year old. He has been so helpful this week. We cleaned the bathrooms Wednesday, he was so cute arranging the soaps and shampoos back on the side of my tub. Then later when I went back I saw that he had gotten out new hand towels to put by the sink too.
~ our new friends we've made here as well as our "old" friends. I was so touched this past weekend that one of my former teacher friends remembered our "remember day" of the due date of our first baby that we lost to miscarriage.
~ having a to do list and getting things marked off of it.
~ getting our electric bill and it being lower than I expected! We were gone a week in July but with all these days of temperatures over 100 I wasn't sure how high it would be. It was lower than the June bill. I"m thankful!
Have a day of blessings!

You found some great things to be thankful for this week! Family and friends are blessings we could never do without. I hope my electric bill will not be crazy high this month. It has been HOT here too!
Awww !! What a sweet boy you have!! Happy Birthday tomorrow Caleb!! :)
I had a miscarriage between Jen & Jantz and we remember our precious baby each year as well. I purchased a little angel ornament and every year my husband and I join hands as we hold the ornament and place it on the tree to remember our baby we will one day hold in heaven! So important to us!!
Phew! so glad your bill was lower than anticipated! I hope I can say that as well!!! We shall see!
Hugs to you on this Thankful day!
Happy Birthday to your lil boy:) I am wondering also how much will our electric bill be, we've been using A/C 24/7.
Wonderful things to be thankful for!
What a lovely list! I hope you all have a wonderful celebration tomorrow. Blessings to you and yours!
Sounds like you're enjoying your summer. Praise God.
