As we pray together as a family, I recently noticed our son saying the same or a similar prayer every time. I reminded him that we pray to talk to God and need to speak from our hearts. In the past he had done some amazing prayers that really surprised us to hear coming from someone so young. Back in March as we gathered as a family for a meal after Mammaw’s funeral, we were all touched at his beautiful prayer that seemed to hold such wisdom beyond his years and comfort for us all. Lately though it seemed he was just rushing through to say a few words and be done.

I really liked your Laced With Grace post. I'm saddened because my kids are virtually grown (16 and 19) and I know that i haven't raised them in a way that is pleasing to God. As I've rededicated my life to Him, I only hope that they can see the changes that He makes in me and will be influenced by them. So happy to see that you're on top of things in this regard.
I always cringe when I hear my kids say "thank you for this food"...at bedtime! I've done it too though. Blessings as you teach your son to love and serve God with their WHOLE heart.
It is so important to remind young children as you did that our prayers are a way of conversation with our Lord it is so good that take the time and care to help your child grow in his prayer life
Thanks for the sweet card you sent to me and Eddie, you are loved.
Marsha told me about the blessing gift you gave to me and lovebug. Words cannot express our gratitude, thank you beyond measure. I love you sis.
What a wonderful answer "blessed" I always enjoy hearing people say that.
God Bless,
Ginger
