2009 Book #14: Financial Peace Revisited

I finished Financial Peace Revisited by Dave Ramsey that I've been reading along with our FPU classes. We have one more week of class left.

I enjoyed reading this book along with the videos we watched for class. It is very easy to read and is a good review of things Dave talks about in the videos. He has things called "Peace Puppies" at the end of each chapter that are little tips of what to do as you move towards financial peace. The back of the book has the various financial management forms you will need also. There is really something for everyone in the book, whether you are married or single, working or retired. We can all learn more about managing our finances, and this is a great resource.
~~~~~~~~~
"People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 11But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness." I Timothy 6:9-11
We have two more weeks in ours. Are you all doing the town hall meeting on the 23rd? We are! We've actually got it going at 3 sites now! Also, Mike has 2 more classes set to begin in June AND he's going for the counselor training course for a week at Ramsey headquarters. We're pretty stoked!
