Thankful Thursday: Wisdom

Do you often pray for wisdom? This is a prayer I pray often. I need wisdom and direction in so many areas. I feel God listens and blesses us when we seek His face and His direction and wisdom. Remember Solomon in the Bible could ask for anything and he asked for wisdom. This is a great example to us.

The verse this morning from KLOVE was very fitting for this theme:
"Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment." Proverbs 4:7, NLT

Thinking about wisdom this week, I'm thankful for...

* the wisdom we gain from reading God's Word.

* learning and gaining wisdom from those who are older in years. We can learn so much from those who are have already "been there."

* my husband's wisdom in dealing with finances. This is just a huge blessing to me. I see so many people who don't care about their finances and are not wise with what they've been given. It brings me pride to see him care and direct us in this.

Thank you to Iris for hosting Thankful Thursday for so long. It has been a joy to participate. Our hostess this week is Lynn at Spiritually Unequal Marriage. Have a blessed day!

Even though you're young Bethany, you are becoming wise. You know where to seek wisdom; in God's Word. Too many people think they know everything they need to know. I think it's important to always grow and learn, no matter how old we are.
