Proverbs & Prayers: Week #8

Thank you for visiting today at the beginning of a new week. I am just loving these Proverbs as I memorize them and ponder them throughout the week. It really helps me to think about the verse too to choose a section for Caleb to memorize. This week he did "Hold on to instruction" so we talked about the meaning of instruction. It made me ask myself if I hold on to instructions, what things I do hold on to tightly, and how I need to guard what I've learned and been told and taught.


This weeks verse is the following two verses of Proverbs.

Proverbs 4:14, 15:


"Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way."

~ Travis. Heather's son who has been sick the past week.


~ Rachel. Kristi's daughter who met with a new doctor over the weekend and was in the hospital with her headaches. Pray for the doctors to have wisdom in helping her and the headaches will cease.


~ Wesley. I have mentioned him before with the brain surgery. He has been having some sharp pains in the back of the head where the cyst was.

~ Caleb has another dentist appointment on Wed. The other dentist found some cavities between his back teeth so referred us to another dentist. Pray for peace about this and for this to work out with insurance also.

~ also for myself. I have an appointment with the eye doctor this week. I think I want to get contacts again and it makes me nervous for them to do the contact exam.
