This is another book I read with Caleb. It is called Mystery Ranch by Gertrude Warner Chandler.
The children visit Aunt Jane, who is the sister of their grandfather. She is described as a cross little lady but she really changes with the children in her home. Because of several mysteries during the trip, Benny decides to name the place Mystery Ranch.
I don't think Caleb enjoyed this one as much as he did some of the others.
