How do you choose when to visit your blog friends? Do you have a list of favorites that you scroll through each day? Do you have a list in Google reader? Do you go to someone's blog after they comment on yours?
When I first started finding other blogs to read, I had a folder called "blogs" in my favorites list. I would click through certain ones on a daily basis so they got moved to a folder called "daily reads" in my blog folder. Then I discovered Google reader in the course online I took during the summer. It is great and I love to see when new posts appear.
Leave a comment to tell me how you visit blogs! I know I'm full of questions lately....it has a purpose...... really....more about that before the end of the year. :)

Hummm...I have my list on my blog as well as the Readers list on my dashboard of my blog. I also view those who have commented during the week and I visit those who are listed as followers of my blog. I try to visit everyone at least once during the week. Some more... when I visit each blog I say a little prayer for that blog friend.
blessings....
I have a wide variety of blogs I follow. My list seems to get longer all the time. I have found that if I add the ones I like to my follow list, they get added to the Google reading list. This way when someone updates, it is really easy for me to know and check in to read.
I have to figure out if there's a way to separate personal and professional blogs. I follow social media, PR, marketing blogs for my work. And for pleasure, fun, and growth, I follow many Christian and also fitness type of blogs.
I try to comment on the blogs that I follow and especially if they take the time to comment on mine.
I use Google Reader. Such a timesaver!
I have blogs listed under my favorites and I go and visit them every other day. I would love to have an easier way, but every time Ihave tried to figure those things out, I get REALLY confused and frustrated. So, back to the (every other) daily grind! :) I have feedjti on my blog so people can subscribe and get emails when I update, but its so unreliable and often days behind. Oh well!
God bless you!
Amanda
Well, mine is almost identical to my sister's (Michele)!
I use Google reader where I've listed my favorites. I also use those who are following me. Those are the dailies. Then there's a list on my computer favorites under blogs of those I visit sometime during the week.
I also try to visit everyone who comments.
I meet know people through TT. If I'm particularly drawn to their blog I add them to favorites.
I don't always comment when I visit. Sometimes I either don't have time or I just don't feel like commenting for the sake of commenting and having someone feel like they have to come visit me to make it even. You know what I mean. i think we all grapple with that issue in some ways. Is it bloggy correctness to visit everyone who comments and post a comment on their blog? I don't know. Do you?
I visit my favorites, and my followers.
Bethany,
I'm giggling typing this because I feel so old...and so technology challenged...but what is Google Reader?
I have a list of the blogs I follow and I go see them. I try not to miss anyone. However, I'm quite sure I have. So I have my friends listed in 'my favorites' too and I scan those to try and make sure I've seen everyone.
Hugs to you.
It is a combination of people who comment and my google reader. =)
Bloglines keeps track for me. I like it because in a glimpse I can tell how many posts a person has listed... I can save the ones I haven't read.
