It is time for Thankful Thursday. I have been blessed. Haven't we all? Do we remember to stop to give thanks in all situations, whatever God has given us?
It has been fun taking part in the "Giving Thanks Challenge" this month. I like to think of new things to put each day on my list. I have listed one thing for each day over in my side bar.
Today I am thankful for...
* my husband being the coordinator for Financial Peace University at our church. He has done a good job preparing for this and getting the word out about the class. I'm proud of him!
* my son doing so well at his doctor's visit. It doesn't seem that long ago when he'd cry when we would take him for his check-ups. We took him in this week because his stomach problems have persisted off and on. The nurse suggested we come in to have him checked. The doctor felt his digestive system was probably just "out of whack" still from when it first started as a stomach bug, so to give him some yogurt and see if that helps. He gave him some medicine for his allergies too. I was proud of how well he did at the doctor's office.
* rain. It was nice to receive rain this week.
* story time at the library. I enjoy going to hear the stories each week with Caleb. I love how he sits to listen and pays attention.
* pomegranates! A friend from the food pantry was talking about them last week and said she had extras that a family member had given her. She shared some with me. They are tasty!
Please join us in giving thanks this week on this Thankful Thursday by visiting Iris at Grace Alone.

Thanks for dropping by. My neck is better now. I didn't know pomegranates are sour. I've never seen any fresh ones being sold where I live but I've seen the bottled juice sold in supermarkets. Think I'll buy one to try, now that I know what it taste like :-)
Have a blessed weekend!
Those pomegranates sound yummy! Thanks for sharing your thanks...
