Thankful Thursday

It's time again to join together in thanks for Thankful Thursday.

Today I am thankful for . . .

~ my sweet husband going to the grocery store with us Monday evening. We were in town anyway so we did our shopping then instead of going back Tuesday morning. It was something so simple really, but it really blessed me not to have to go back Tuesday. It was nice also to have an extra pair of hands on the shopping trip! I spent less too with him along!

~ my growing up boy! He asked if he could go in to pay the water bill by himself this week so I let him. He thought it was the greatest thing to get to do that himself! He asked if he could do it every time! It is a one room office where I can park directly in front of the door so I felt okay about letting him walk in alone.

~ rain. It has been a rainy week here. I have enjoyed having the windows open, hearing the rain and feeling the nice breeze.

~ having the late fee removed from the credit card bill.

~ Christmas shopping. I did an order online this week and also found another idea of something to make for a couple of people. It makes me excited for the holidays!

Have a wonderful day and God bless you in all you do!

I love when my darling boyfriend offers to help me with something. Even something as small as vac'ing the floor after I've cleaned up. Just that extra hands.

Blessings to you!

I always say I'll start but Christmas shopping early, but somehow I rarely get around to it.

How blessed you are to have such a wonderful and responsible son.

I tried to leave a comment on here earlier but for some reason it didn't seem to be going through. I'll try one more time.
I think it is so sweet that your son paid the bill by himself. That must have given him a lot of confidence.
I pay all of our bills online now. It is so much easier, faster, and no stamps needed. LOL
Love the scripture you quoted.
Blessings,
Charlotte

What a wonderful list of things for which to be thankful. Isn't it great to use this day to focus on thankfulness? I love that you're teaching your son valuable lessons. And how organized you are to begin your Christmas shopping even now.

Hey Bethany,

Your son wanting to go pay bills by himself just gave me the most precious childhood memory! My Mam-Maw used to take us all around town paying bills and when we were done she would take us to McDonalds.

That was when you didn't do things online...what a great time we had with her! She would have us take turns running in to pay the different bills!

Blessings to you today, sweet sister!

Thanks for visiting my blog. I too am thankful when you call a company of any type and they give you a break...one time I went over huge on my minutes for cell phone and I called...she took the whole bill off and gave me over a hundred dollar break because I had never gone over before. That was God working on my behalf. I am more careful with my minutes now.

Ah the blessings of small town life.. to be able to send Caleb in all by himself. That's wonderful!

And great news about the late fee removed! Way to go. Sometimes, all you have to do is ask.

Wow - how cool that you had the late fee removed from your account. There are still some nice companies out there :)
I am sure your son felt great for paying the water bill. I think it is cool that you allowed him to do that.

Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart last week with us.

Be blessed today and always...
