Thankful Thursday

Has this week flown by for anyone besides me? It was so nice to have the Labor Day holiday on Monday and add an extra day to our weekend time together. I love spending time with my husband and son.

I am thankful for...
*the way my husband gives me his special smile when I need it.

*the joy my heart feels when I hear my son practicing the things I've taught him. The other day at the library he wanted to find a book about race cars and sat down to type it in the computer. He started sounding it out aloud, and it was so cute.

*fun catalogs in the mail. Christmas must be coming! I have received a couple catalogs and found several gift ideas for some family members.

*the coolness I felt as I went outside this morning. I could tell the temperature had dropped in the night because of the coolness inside when I got up. Then it felt so nice when I opened the garage door and felt the cool air.

*awesomeness of God's creation, the beauty that surrounds me.

This girl was hit by a car a week ago and still in very serious condition. I know you'll pray.

What a lovely post! Oh yes, I had Monday off too as it's a holiday here. The week sure seemed short LOL.
