Friday Favorites: New Songs #3

I heard this song a while back and I totally love it! It recently came out I believe. It is called "Today Is the Day" by Lincoln Brewster. Here are the lyrics.

It is similar to one of my favorite old songs "This is the Day" from the verse in Psalm 118:24 which says "This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." This song has a great message. We need to give everything to Jesus, all our fears, worries, and doubts and simply rejoice in Him and give thanks for the day He has given us....THIS day. Remind me of this when I'm worrying about my husband on his upcoming trip.... "And I won`t worry about tomorrow I'm trusting in what You say......"

You can listen to the song here. This song has such a fun, catchy tune. I like to get it stuck in my head!

Have a wonderful day!

I loved that song...I loved when he said "I'm reaching my hand up to yours"...I often think how comforted I am when I hold my husband's hand and I can't wait for the day to hold Jesus's Hand.

What a beautiful post. You have such a sweet tender loving heart! I know I need commas there but I've been up early...tee hee!

Blessings to you today!
