Caleb stories

I thought it might be time to share some recent Caleb stories! He's done a couple of cute things lately. :)

--Yesterday as we were driving to church he said look at those dinosaur bones. I had no clue what he meant. I thought there must have been a new billboard I hadn't yet noticed. I asked again what he meant, and he said, "Right there, it looks like an x-ray of dinosaur bones." He was pointing out the window, and I finally realized he meat the clouds looked like dinosaur bones. He was right too! Last night in the car he saw some "tire wheels" in the sky too. I had the camera so I took a picture of those. He was right about that too.

--He was trying to tell me something as he was getting a bite of broccoli. I couldn't understand him with the food in his mouth. He repeated it and said, "Did you hear what I just said?" That sure does sound familiar! I wonder who he heard say that!

--Our newspaper is running a little game right now. Each day the same picture is printed in the classified section, and they take out one additional item each day. You submit your entry with that day's missing item for a drawing for a gas card and some other prize. I was trying to find the missing item, and Caleb came up and said, "There's no TV in this one." He was right. We laughed that he found it so quickly and took me a while to figure it out! When he sees the picture as I'm looking at the paper, he'll tell me a whole list of things missing from the original picture when the game first started.

--Caleb is "stocking up" Daddy with "monkey ears" at bedtime. Daddy has a trip soon to Washington, CD (as Caleb says). It makes me grin when he says this.
