Book #28: The Forgiving Hour

Today I finished a book called The Forgiving Hour by Robin Lee Hatcher. Talk about a good book! I really enjoyed this story. The main characters, Dakota, Claire, and Sara, have many issues to work through together because of secrets of the past related to the affair that destroyed Claire's family when Dakota was a child.

I learned so much from this book about the bondage of living in unforgiveness, the freedom found in forgiving, and how God is the one who can truly bring peace to situations that through worldly eyes it would be impossible to resolve.

My husband has a saying "Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person you are harboring unforgiveness against to die!"

So true and such a valuable lesson.
Have a blessed day!
