Have you seen God today?

Recently our youth minister was talking about various ways he saw love exhibited by fellow church members throughout the week on a daily basis. He mentioned a song I had not heard called "I Saw God Today." It is a country song by George Strait I found out and I really like it (except for the use of swear, I don't like that word!). There are many times throughout my days when I feel like I "see God".....watching Caleb sleeping so peacefully, a cool breeze as I hang the clothes, a perfect sunset, the feel of safety in my husband's embrace. I have noticed many times how often Caleb will point things out to me that I never would have noticed otherwise. Times when he spots a flower or tiny bug, or a helicopter miles away up in the sky. I wonder how many times I miss little things like this because I'm not paying close enough attention.
