Caleb stories

One night I heard Caleb and Daddy talking before bath. Daddy asked, "Are you my right-hand man?" Caleb answered, "No, I'm your left-hand man." (It seems like I've already shared this one as I'm typing it.) He is left-handed so I guess that is why he couldn't be a right-hand man.

I love it when he will say a word and then repeat it several times and try to sound it out. He is doing really well putting the sounds together to make words.

We heard it start raining and I heard Caleb holler out, "Thank you God for the rain."

This morning as we were getting ready my husband went out the door to put a letter in the box and put out the trash cans. When he came back inside, Caleb told him, "Now go wash your hands because we wash our hands after we touch the trash cans." (I don't know where he would have heard that line!!)

It seems I have more, but I can't remember them right now. This boy sure makes me happy!
