I had the above poem in my email inbox (I don't know who wrote it) and thought it was perfect to add for Thankful Thursday. I hope you're having a blessed week. We have so much to be thankful for as we are nearing the end of another month. Can you believe we'll be to July next week? Visit other thankful people at Sting my Heart.
This week I feel especially thankful for...
*my husband and the way he makes me feel special with sweet things he does or says to me.
*seeing my sweet boy's love of books. This week I was working in the kitchen and heard him on the couch reading one of his library books. It was exciting to hear him remember the storyline and some of the sentences word for word.
*friendly neighbors.
*fresh tomatoes. We haven't had any on our plants yet but we've enjoyed plenty from the farmer's market!
*indoor plumbing and hot showers. We had a couple guys talk about their recent medical mission trips. Seeing the pictures made me extra thankful for these things.

I love this poem also. My sister has brain cancer and it is my desire to Praise God no matter what my circumstances. I had written about that just Monday.

Those are great reasons to be thankful! My mom and I borrowed your 'Thankful Thursday' title and made other ones for each weekday, as we email each other that day! Thanks for inspiring us! It has made me be more thoughtful about what I say and not complain about little things from the day! :)
