I finished another set of book reviews for my Mom this week. She got us three to read this time.
The first (and my favorite of this group) is called Playful Little Penguins by Tony Mitton. Caleb and I both enjoyed this book. The little penguins are just so cute! This is a rhyming book about the fun penguins have while slipping, sliding, diving, and helping out a little seal pup.

The next one is called Together by Jane Simmons. This is a dog story about Nut and Mousse. In the beginning they love doing everything together and things are great for the pair. They begin having trouble though when they decide they don't like the same things and begin doing things on their own instead of together. It is a cute book about friendship, and I think children will enjoy it because they can relate to having friends with different interests.
The final book is a science book called From Seed to Dandelion by Ellen Weiss. It explains the life cycle of a dandelion. I would recommend this book for early elementary aged children. Caleb and I found dandelions in the yard to go along with the book and our spring lessons. It is interesting to compare them up close in the various stages.
