I feel like I have so much to be thankful for this week, even though we've been sick. It has been hard on us all but we are doing much better. It is weird for any of us to be sick really, but for all three of us to be sick at the S A M E time has been a challenge to say the least. I'll admit that when we got back from San Antonio last week and JMP was sick, I was disappointed. We had looked forward to his four day weekend and now he was in bed. I prayed though and God gave me joy to care for him and showed me it was okay if our plans weren't what I thought they were going to be for the weekend.
I am thankful for. . .
*how my husband will do all he can to care for me when I'm sick. He is so loving and keeps telling me not to do too much as I am recovering.
*my sweet boy's voice. I cannot tell you what a blessing it was to hear him talking and laughing again by Tuesday. He barely said any words on Monday, it just broke my heart to see him so ill. It was sweet music to my ears for him to be silly and talkative again! I've heard mothers who complain about talkative children but to me it is a blessing to hear that sweet little voice all day long!
*my Mom coming to help out. Friday night when we decided we were taking JMP to the clinic she volunteered to come up Saturday morning. Mom's are wonderful! She helped out so much...waiting at Walmart to pick up the Rx, entertaining Caleb, helping with supper, on and on!
*our insurance. I was a bit surprised how little JMP's RX cost Saturday and then how much mine and Caleb's cost on Monday! But I'm thankful we had insurance and didn't have to pay the full prices on any of them.
*time to rest and recuperate. I'm thankful I have time to get back to 100% without rushing to be well to get to an outside job. Caleb is pretty helpful, and I have learned (or should say am learning!) that dishes and laundry can wait!
I hope you are feeling thankful today! We have so many reasons to give thanks everyday. Hope your Thursday is blessed! You can visit others who are thankful by joining us at Sting My Heart.

What a blessing to have mom near enough to help out at such a time.
It's icky to be sick. :( Especially everyone all at once.
At least you are feeling better. :)
