A friend from church loaned us The Nativity Story. We watched it Saturday night and both of us really enjoyed it. I believe it was last year sometime I read the book at the library and found it very intriguing. I mean how many times have I heard the story from the Bible? It was interesting to have a new approach I guess and think about things I've not really pondered before, like about the wise men and how they knew about the star. It is rated PG for a couple scenes of violence (related to Herod killing all the babies) so I wouldn't recommend that part for children. I really couldn't stand to watch that part myself.
The next one on my list to watch is Facing the Giants.

I haven't seen the Nativity Story, but I love Facing the Giants! We gave it to my daughter for Christmas and she and I sat watching it together and cried. It is so good!
