We needed a stay home day! I was really looking forward to today because I knew we could stay home and do whatever. The unfortunate part is I got sick in the night about 4:20 a.m. I assume it is something I ate; I still don't feel totally normal just yet.
It's been a nice day overall though. I felt extra tired this morning after being up in the night I guess. Caleb told me let's get up and eat some breakfast. We had breakfast (I only felt up to having some crackers.) We did our lesson together on the letter S. We were supposed to do this letter last week but didn't because of our full schedule. We did start our lessons on numbers last week, and today we continued that with measuring. Caleb knows all about tape measures so I showed him a ruler and how to use it. Caleb also played post office. He had some paper he cut into rectangles and then used one of his stamps on it. He was making his own checks I think. This reminded me of playing "officer" with Chel. Caleb played with his fire trucks, and I folded some clothes and wrote checks to pay bills and fixed lunch. Before his nap we read books. Lately we've been taking turns choosing a different place to read. Today was under the couch leg rest.
That's about all we've done. It's been nice.

Hey, just thought I'd let you know that Holly's baby was born this morning, a couple of weeks early. She weighed 5 lbs. 13 oz.
Sounds like a nice day indeed! ;-D
My kids LOVE stay at home days. I was hoping we'd get enough snow tonight to have a snow day tomorrow, but no such luck...
