I really cannot believe how soon it will be Thanksgiving! Where has the time gone? I was thinking of plans for Caleb's lesson themes. I thought I had a couple more weeks and then we would do Thanksgiving stuff. Wrong! It will be one week of Thanksgiving and then the actual Thanksgiving week!
This week I give thanks for...
*my husband verbalizing his appreciation for me. It always makes my heart soar when he tells me thanks me for something, even something little that I've done.
*my little son's funny comments that make me laugh. Last night I asked him if he wanted more tater tots. He told me they were yucky. I said Caleb! He said, "Thank you for cooking this for me Mommy" in a sweet little voice!
*the extra $30 we received for participating in a Nielsen survey. This was unexpected. I participate in a few different survey programs and only get $1--$5 usually. It was fun to get this $30 to just record what TV we watch for a week. (That won't be hard considering we barely ever turn on the TV!)
*good deals I found this week at Walgreen's. I was able to buy several items on sale for holiday baking, and it is fun for me to get in the "holiday spirit."
*being able to teach a Wednesday night class. I always learn something myself from the lessons and the children.
