We got back home yesterday afternoon. It was a long trip, but we all enjoyed it. Caleb did great being in the car for longer stretches than normal too.
Thursday we stayed the night at my Mom's house. Caleb went to school with her Friday morning for a little bit. He got to eat in the cafeteria and helpedin her office. Then we picked him up and headed out. On the way I realized we'd be in Abilene in time for chapel at ACU and mentioned it to JMP. He said he'd been thinking the same thing. We always love to go back to visit ACU and were glad the timing was right on this trip. We were blessed to be there. We also got to have lunch at one of our Abilene favorites before getting back on the road. We stopped again in Post to visit the graves of my great grandparents and also drive by their old home. It really looked different, and I wasn't even positive it was the right house at first. We arrived in Lubbock after 4. We got to visit with JMP's brother for a while before going to have supper with my Dad.
On Saturday we went to a fun park. It had a bunch of equipment we hadn't tried before at any of the parks here. Then we fed some ducks. I wasn't sure Caleb would like it if they all came up to him but he had lots of fun. I think it was his favorite part of the day too! Grandad showed him how to hold the bread out to a duck and have it eat it out of his fingers. After nap we went to a corn maze. We'd never done one before, and it was a fun experience. I was amazed to see the pictures of different patterns cut out each year. Caleb also got to pick some pumpkins. He found two tiny ones and one large one. Also the owner let him have some cotton too. We'd been showing it to him on the trip and I was hoping he'd get to touch some.
Sunday morning after church and lunch we headed towards home. We spent another night at my Mom's and came on home Monday morning. I believe we all slept very soundly last night in our own beds!
I'm trying to catch up on things here and clean up. JMP moved out the entertainment center so we can try a different living room arrangement. Now we have things off the entertainment center in boxes in our bedroom and the garage. We have to get rid of some stuff! It seems like our "stuff" grows too fast. I want everything to have a place. That's one of my goals.
It's nap time so I need to go do a few things now. Have a great week!

Sounds like a fun trip! I don't have any advice for the entertainment center. Ours is pretty ginormous but it closes up completely so you are just staring at a cabinet, not a TV when the TV is not in use.
