Thankful Thursday

We are enjoying the beautiful fall days.  I liked the cool breeze this morning when I stepped on the porch.

Today I am thankful for...

~ that my husband could work from home as he prepares for his colonoscopy (tomorrow).

~ taking my big boy to lunch after he had his background check interview for the fire department.  

~ the tradition we have of window clings and how my little guy puts them around the house...he always does the back sliding glass door, oven and microwave windows, and mirrors.  He put out fall ones this week.  It's a fun little tradition.

~ going to see my Dad for the weekend.  We enjoyed our trip and seeing the pumpkin patch and corn maze.  It was nice to get away.  And thankful for safe travel.  Oh and getting Braum's!  

~ making a fun new hair scrunchie!  I had seen the pattern a while back and bought elastic on sale.  It was fun to make and something I use all the time.  I want to make more...they would make good little stocking stuffer too. This material is leftover from the table topper I shared recently.  

~ getting some butter pecan ice cream at our local favorite ice cream shop.  I had a sample of it one time and then the next two times I went they were out of that flavor.  This week they had it!
