Thankful Thursday

It feels like spring is almost here.  We had a <loud> thunderstorm Tuesday night with some rain followed by a very windy day on Wednesday.  The sun has been out and it has felt warmer.

This week I am thankful for...

~ getting to celebrate my husband on his birthday last Saturday.  He is two weeks younger than me.  Caleb was gone though to help out of town at a powerlifting meet so we spread out the "celebrating" (eating out and cake we made) into Sunday as well when he was home.  I surprised him with a new light and also a water bottle and holder for his bike.

~ the way my big boy helps others.

~ a good report for my little guy at his first trip to the eye doctor.

~ time to work on my quilt.  I don't have a space to spread it out and leave it out so I have it placed on a sheet and roll the sheet up.  It is working well so far.  I got it all pieced and now am going to be working on sewing it all together. Today my friend/mentor/teacher and I worked on sewing more pieces together.

~ books in the mail that I get to review!  I've received several lately, including one today that is a children's book I had forgotten was coming.  A fun little surprise!

~ seeing robins in the yard.  I saw one an a mailbox this morning.

Have a day of blessings!
