Election Reflections

This morning I was pondering the election results, feeling disappointed in the outcome.  I was doing some things around the house and thought I'd listen to Pandora.  Guess what song came on first thing? 

My hope is built on nothing less
than Jesus' blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
but wholly lean on Jesus' name.

What a great reminder!  MY hope is not in any government official, leader, or country.  MY hope is in Jesus!

    I needed to read this post this morning. Thank you Bethany. That is one of my favorite songs.
    When the carpool came to get my boy this morning, the mom reminded me that GOD is in control, today, tomorrow and forever!
