Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. Do you complete your own taxes? Besides actual taxes, what's something you've found taxing lately?
No we don't.  We have someone do them.  We had a lady we used for most of our marriage and she passed away a few years ago.  We miss her.

One word:  MOVING

2.  What are three values you treasure most in a friendship?

trustworthy
honest
Christian to point me towards God or helpe me in my relationship with Him

3. Do you meal plan or do you mostly wing it? Share your dinner menus for this week.

Yes typically I meal plan; however, currently nothing in my life is typical!  haha
I printed off blank monthly calendars and each month make a plan.  It is never followed exactly, but it helps so much for ideas and planing.

I tried to just go with the flow with the meal plans this week since we aren't really moved in yet.

I made bbq chicken in the crock pot Monday and we had Manwhich on Tuesday.  Tonight we have our church supper.  Tomorrow will be leftovers probably.  Maybe make some quesadillas with the leftover chicken.

4. Thomas Sowell is credited as saying, ''There are no solutions, only trade-offs.' Agree or disagree? Discuss.

This made me think of "it always works out."  I have heard that a lot lately.  And know it will work out but the solution may not be what I thought it would be or what I thought was right way.

5. What's the best perk you've enjoyed at a job?

Being a stay at home Mom and being able to do things with the boys' school/classes and be helpful there.

6.  Insert your own random thought here.

Most everything is still boxed in the garage/sheds.  This week they are working on floors. We are so happy to be here in our new home.  We've seen a little bunny in the yard multiple times.  The sunsets are so beautiful!  Also I have some roses in bloom at the front of the house.

Have a day of blessings! Bethany

  6. Yes, moving is definitely taxing. Those are three good values you listed. Good for you making those calendars and having a meal plan. Hope your church super went well. Being a stay at home mom is awesome. So glad you are in your new home. Hopefully you will be able to be moved in fully soon.
