This week's verse is Psalm 28:7--
"The Lord is my strength and shield; my heart trusts in him and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song."
Do you have any prayer requests to share this week? I realized last week I forgot to post prayer requests. It seems I'm forgetting one right now for this week, but please remember the following in your prayers:
~ Denise and Eddie. Continue to pray for healing as well as their financial needs.
~ Charlotte. She shared about her upcoming surgery and asked for prayers.
~ Steve--recently diagnosed with kidney cancer.
~ continue to remember Haiti and the efforts going on there to help the people.
~ my boys! My son woke up sick Thursday morning. I thought it was allergies but in the afternoon he was running fever. I thankfully was able to get an appointment with his doctor Friday afternoon and he felt he had the flu. He started on Tamiflu and was so much better on Saturday. My husband though woke up in the night with a major ear ache. He went to the clinic and has an ear infection.
Thank you for visiting today on Spiritual Sundays.
Have a day of blessings!
the book Chosing Gratitude sounds good. I will look for it next time I'm out. I think a grateful heart is a happy heart. I will lift your family's health in prayer. Blessings, Debbie

ReplyDeleteI am teaching my two kids to write them too.

ReplyDeleteGood suggestion. My mom taught this to my sister and I. You don't see too many thank you cards these days.
ReplyDeletepraying in agreement for all those you mentioned. Hope your family is doing well - no more sickness!!!!
ReplyDeleteI need to be better at sending cards. It is a on again off again thing with me. I need to just make it on all the time. I will join you in prayer for all of the people you listed. I'm glad your son is feeling better.

ReplyDelete"Thank You" and yes I think gratitude is something everyone needs. I myself have been taught Thank You cards.
ReplyDeletePrayer request for my 92 year old grandmother Bertha that is suffering broken hip and trials of nursing home care. Pray the Lord is watching over her in her time of need!
God Bless-

We are always being blessed by God. We need to remember to thank HIM.
ReplyDeleteShowing gratitude is a very important thing to do. My husband is great about writing thank you notes and sometimes just notes of encouragement to people. He does such a good job that I have come to rely on his writing them for both of us.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the prayer concerns and I especially appreciate you including me in that list.
Blessings,
Charlotte
